Mobile racking

 

These racks are mounted on mobile trolleys, run on rails and can be moved by hand or electrically. The mobile system can be used for pallet, cantilever, shelving and bulk storage racks. This means racks from which no goods are needed can be temporarily pushed together.

-          Low turnover frequency

-          Wide range of products

-          Limited stock per article

Advantages

-          FIFO possible

-          Space-saving

Disadvantages

-          Risk of unfavourable capacity utilisation

-          Moving racks can slow down work

-          Expensive construction in which the rigidity of the moving rack must be            satisfactory.
